Corrections Policy

How to report an error on Asia Travel Rules, how quickly we act, and how we mark a guide that has been corrected.

A reference site is only worth the accuracy of its worst table. If you find a figure that is wrong or out of date, telling us is the single most useful thing you can do here.

How to report an error

Send it through the contact form — pick A correction to a guide — with:

  1. the address of the page,
  2. the figure or statement you believe is wrong,
  3. what it should say, and
  4. where you saw the correct value — ideally a link to the operator, ministry or agency.

Point 4 is what turns a report into a correction. We cannot change a published figure on the strength of “I was there last month and it was different”, however true that is — we need the source we can cite.

What we do with it

  • Within 3 working days: we acknowledge the report and check it against the primary source.
  • Confirmed factual error: corrected immediately, and the guide’s “Updated” date is reset.
  • A rule or price that has genuinely changed: the guide is updated and, where the change is significant, a dated note is added explaining what changed and when.
  • We cannot confirm it: we tell you what we found, and where the two sources disagree we say so in the guide rather than picking a winner silently.

What we do not do

We do not quietly delete pages to make an error disappear, and we do not backdate a guide to hide that it was wrong. If a correction is material — a price, an allowance, an entry requirement — it stays visible on the page.

Right of reply

If you represent an operator, provider or authority described on this site and believe we have misstated your terms, write to the same address. Send the official reference and we will correct the page. We will not remove accurate information because it is unflattering.
